Do you NEED to clean a guinea pigs ears?
One of my pigs ears is looking a lil red on the out side, and to the touch its like really warm. what does this mean? plus his ears are a lil gunky inside. But do they NEED to have them cleaned?
I have two guinea pigs and I clean their ears and mouths(teeth mainly) about once a week. You might try putting a little hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip and rubbing on the red ear for a day or two. If it doesn’t subside, I would call your vet. I know the hydrogen peroxide sounds weird, but it works I swear!
